that's the first thought that comes to my mind when i see this picture! growing up, i had a mother that always made sure we looked nice, so i'm guessing that this picture was probably taken at the end of a really long day. my hair is a crazy mess and there are stains all down the front of my dress!
also, my mother didn't buy ANYTHING name brand. so the thing that absolutely kills me about this picture is that i'm wearing nike's! the fact that she bought nike's for a 2 year old totally blows my mind!!!

If I look closely at that picture, I can really see you. What a darn cutie ragamuffin you were...and still are. Actually, I'm not sure that that was taken at the end of a long day. You were just SOOOOO determined that I often let you have your way on things that didn't matter...shocker, I know.
