missy, i too have a sneak in my house...

my friend missy posted this about her daughter hadley sneaking food and standing face first into a corner to eat it. well, apparently i have a sneak of a daughter, too.

you see, miss loves pretzels. correction. miss loves the SALT on pretzels. she will sit and bite all the little bits of salt off a pretzel and then discard the rest without taking even a single bite of the actual pretzel. she knows this drives me nuts and that i won't give her a pretzel if she doesn't eat the whole thing.

today she asked me for some, and later came and asked for more. when i went to the kitchen to grab her some, i was surprised that she'd actually eaten them. so i gave her more and went on my merry way again. later in the day, she asked for even more. miss is a picky eater, so i was thrilled that she was actually eating them and was happy to get her some more. until i saw this...

we had countertops put in today, so our kitchen table was covered with a bunch of stuff, but under a wash rag, i could see some pretzels sticking out. well, you guessed it. under that wash rag was a big ol' pile of soggy pretzel sticks. i asked miss if she had hid them from me and of course she said "no" and then burst into tears cause she knew she'd been caught.

yeah, no more pretzels for her.

How funny. The worst is when Eli pulls the peanut butter off off his sandwich and leaves the bread. Grrrr. Those rooms look great I can't wait to see the rest of the casa!
