bad things come in three's

so this has been a really crappy week. it all started with my cell phone ringing in the middle of relief society and my mom's neighbor informing me that my grandma had fallen and was not doing well. tom and i rushed over there and my grandma was not in good shape. so off in the ambulance she went. after several hours in the emergency room, she was released and we took her home. then yesterday, as i was helping her sit up out of bed, she kept telling me that she didn't feel well and she thought she might have a fever. then she completely blacked out and was limp in my arms. i immediately panicked and called 911 and was a hysterical blubbering idiot with the dispatcher. they sent yet another ambulance and the e.m.t.'s were able to get her conscious. they've kept her at the hospital and my mom came back down from idaho, and i was relieved of my caretaker duties. so they say bad things come in three's, right? i'm hoping that my third "bad" thing was when elliot was sitting on my lap today at cafe rio, and grabbed my bowl of salad, tipping my whole meal over the both of us. i can handle that being my third bad thing. i don't know if i can handle it being anything else.

i'm sorry that my last couple of posts have been a bit depressing. maybe by next week i will have something much lighter to share. hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

Seriously Laura! That sounds horrible. I am so sorry. We need to get our girls together for play dates so that we can have our much needed breaks!

If it makes you feel better, I didn't even notice your cell phone ringing in RS. :)
That does sound pretty crappy, I hope your grandma is okay and I hope you get to enjoy Thanksgiving tomorrow without too many demands on your time. Maybe a bunch of us should go get pedicures or something!

I have had a similar situation with my grandpa. It is not easy. I am sorry that you are having to deal with this. Hopefully things will get better.
