just get the container you want to place them in, put in a layer of stones, marbles, or anything else you want to use, put in your bulbs and then fill the container with water until the bottoms are good and covered!

it's time!
if you decided to force your bulbs around the same time that i did, it's time to pull them out of the fridge and get them going!

stripes!
i've decided that i want to be more bold when it comes to designing my home and the first place i decided to give it a try was our bedroom.
i felt like everything was just SO gray and since we don't have a headboard, i thought that these stripes would make a fun statement. i also added a sunburst mirror that had been hanging in our hallway and i love the way it turned out!

"o ghett-o tree, o ghett-o tree..."
yep. our christmas tree is ghetto this year.
my 1 year old can't seem to keep his grubby little hands off of EVERYTHING, so i kept having to put all the ornaments that were once on the lower part of the tree onto the top...
resulting in this hot mess

lovely, right? let's just pretend my house looks like this
i also had fun plans for the girls pink tree that we put in their room. i had some orange vintage ornaments for it but realized they'd be more trouble than they're worth with mr. sawyer around.
so we settled for silly bands instead.

in other news, i've got some fun house projects up my sleeve. stay tuned!
