it's a sad day here at the hildebrand house.

today is the day that we get rid of elli's beloved "b". truthfully, i don't know who's going to be more sad...her or me. i seriously love the "baby plug".



anyway, i cut the tips off all of her binkys and she's quite confused by the whole thing.

wish us luck for the next couple of nights...we're going to need it!

while jon and darby were in town, darby, a very talented photographer, was nice enough to take some pictures of my girls!

they're still being edited, but she posted a couple on her blog and i LOVE them!

surprise visits!

our good friends, the airhart's, came into town last sunday from north carolina to surprise their families, and they were nice enough to set aside a night to come hang out with us. it was tons of fun to hang out with them and to see how big their kids had gotten!

then on wednesday, my brother from arizona told me that he and his wife were planning on surprising my family and coming up for the weekend! it was awesome to see the look on my parent's faces when i pulled up in my car with jon and darby in it.

we did a lot of fun activities, including making gingerbread houses...





anyway, it was great to see jon and darby one last time before their little baby is born!

on another subject, my elli has been quite a goof lately. here's just some random pics i've taken over the last couple of days.

also, the last couple of days when i've gone to check on her in her bed, i've found her with a blanket over her head for some reason.





she's definitely an odd one, that girl!

goings on...

so, not too much going on around here lately. we've finally got the house done and are able to actually relax and enjoy living in it. here's some pics that i've taken over the last couple of days. oh, and if anyone can help me figure out why all of my pictures are fuzzy on the right side, please let me know!! is this a camera issue? user error? poltergeist? whatever it is, it's driving me nuts!

anyway, here's miss in a classic sleeping position for her...



case in point...here she is at jon and darby's house back in july. seriously, i don't know how she sleeps like this.



and here's a picture of elli chilling on my bed watching "barney". the girl loves her t.v., alright.



we also went to temple square last week, where i managed to take ONE picture!



and finally, after working long and hard on our house for over a month, i finally allowed tom (yes, i said "allowed" like i'm the boss or something) to unpack and organize his nintendo crap stuff.

check out the shelves he custom built exclusively for his collection.

note: those are ALL video games with the top three shelves being ORIGINAL nintendo games. honestly, sometimes i think he loves that collection more than he loves me!




oh, and one last thing...if anyone has a good chiropractor they can recommend me to, that'd be great. i'm having back issues. thanks!
