flight of the conchords
i'm so over the writer's strike! reruns, reality shows, the golden globes being cancelled! as a t.v. junkie, i'm seriously going through withdrawals. however, there has been one ray of sunshine amidst this dark and tragic time. "flight of the conchords". we received the first season on dvd for christmas and it has saved us from countless hours of sub par television. now mind you, it IS an HBO series, but it is surprisingly clean and it is genius.

Finally!!! A fellow Conchords watcher. I've been saving episodes on the Tivo and watching them over and over until the DVD came out (which I also got for Christmas). "Okay, it looks quite wierd. Brett, you look too small. It looks sort of like trick photography. It's like Lord of the Rings, Germain you look like an Ogre that works in the library. Yea, I think it's your fault Brett...you're just too small!"

Oh, I am so glad Sam found this posting! The other night he made me sit down and watch an episode with him. The show is funny, but it's more fun to watch Sam laughing so hard!
the "david bowie" and "racist" episodes are great. tom & i have seriously watched this dvd like 3 times!
I'm going to have to memorize the words to the song "Brett, You've Got It Going On" and alter them a bit to fit the individual needs of people that need cheering up in the ward. I think that will be a big hit.
