tom practically lives down here. seriously. 6 out of 7 nights he can be found sleeping on that sectional, only to wake up in the middle of the night and drag himself upstairs to bed.

hall bathroom

the sink in this bathroom is by far my favorite thrift store find. while we were still living in our townhouse, i found it at the d.i. for freakin' $5!!! if you were to go and buy a sink like this at a home improvement store, you would easily pay at least $200!

i knew we were moving soon and that we'd be able to find a place for it in a new house, so i brought it home, where it sat in our garage and annoyed my husband. our one-car garage was jam packed and he was not happy that a sink was taking up all of his space.

words cannot describe how giddy i am over this bathroom! (i know...it's sad what makes me happy in life!)

another room...

i finally got around to hanging the pictures in our bedroom and clearing out some odds and ends. sorry the pictures are pretty dark...obviously my photography skills are sub-par.

sick of house pictures, yet? too bad, that's all that's going on in our life right now!

once again, pictures just don't do justice to how ugly this kitchen was when we bought the house. the countertops were a lovely faux marble laminate, and the tile was just about the ugliest stuff you can buy. but i finished grouting the backsplash today and now we're completely done with that room! enjoy!

the office

don't have a "before" picture, but here's a picture of our office. i LOVE our new spacious desk. gotta love ikea!
