i'm a "glass half-full" kind of girl
...or in my case, a jug half-full. the other day i bought a huge 1 gallon jug of berry lemonade and decided to act like a twelve year old boy and drink some straight out of the jug, instead of getting a glass. apparently i didn't screw the lid on very tight, and when i put it back in the fridge, i laid it down sideways.

what not to wear
finally! my internet has been struggling the last couple of days, so pardon the lack of posts. anyway, last night tom and i went to a murder mystery party with a 1950's theme. i was assigned the part of a gossip columnist (a stretch for me, i know) and tom was a "dragnet"-type actor. we had a fun time, and we even got to take my mom's m.g., which i lovingly refer to as "the hitler car".

okay, the weird part was that after the party i came home and turned on the ol' tivo to watch "what not to wear" and the chick that was nominated for her hideous wardrobe had on the EXACT same shirt as my $4 d.i. shirt that i had worn to the party! so random!

the reveal
ya'll are so smart. it WAS a burn...kind of. elli face planted off of the couch on sunday and landed forehead first onto a not-so-soft rug that lays over hardwood. leaving this awesome rug burn behind.

although, the close-up shot kind of looks like the skin of this orange.
(yes, jon and darby, this is from your yard...i was fiddling with my camera.)

too tired to think of a title...
howdy. so i just got back from arizona...again...and of course i had a fabulous time and i finished editing my first film! yeehaw! (oh sheesh, that whole paragraph made me sound like a cowboy...sorry about that)
i have to give a big "thanks" to my mom and sister for taking such good care of my miss while i was gone. and of course, to jon and darby for welcoming me into their home yet again. their house is truly starting to feel like a second home to me. we've had a great time watching our "arrested development" marathons and eating jon's perfected popovers.
anywho...here's a random picture. can you guess what it is?

fun times
we had a really fun time this weekend thanks to some great people. on saturday morning, my parent's neighbors were taking kids for rides on their horses, and miss was able to ride them, too. she insisted that she wear her cowboy hat and cowboy boots!

we also got to hang out with our good friends, the airhart's, who moved to north carolina about six months ago. the neighborhood just isn't as fun without them and we miss them very much! but it was so fun to see them and their new little browen, before they headed off for st. george. i didn't get any pictures, but we had a great time!
sunday, we got to hang out with the hildebrand family and they had a bounce house set up for the kids. of course miss loved it! it was nice to visit with everyone. we don't get to see them too often, but we always have fun when we do!
