adult supervision required!

miss has never been the kind of child that i have to keep a close eye on. as a baby, she never put random objects in her mouth, never tried to stick her fingers in the light sockets, and is pretty obedient if i tell her not to touch something. so i wasn't really paying attention to her while i was getting ready for church one sunday afternoon, and i heard her tapping something on my bedroom dresser. i figured it was a toy of some kind, until i heard something break and she started crying. in her hands was broken glass and there was dark brown wet n' wild nail polish EVERYWHERE! so tom and i were trying to get her pajamas off without dripping polish all over, and miss had an itch on her nose she kept trying to scratch. it started to dry before we could get it all off, and as a result, we had to get out the nail polish remover and literally scrub it off of her skin. all with a 3 week old baby screaming on the bed and 10 minutes left to get our butts to church! how that polish didn't get on our carpet, i'll never know. word to the wise...do NOT let 2 year olds play with nail polish!

Poor Kennedy. Carrie's parents were watching her nephew, Dexter, and let him play with the bright red polish. It broke and he cried. When Carrie's brother came in to check on him all he saw was bright red stuff all over his hands, arms, and carpet...scary at first, but nasty!
