never call tom "shy"

a common thing i hear when people first meet tom is that their first impression of him is that he seems kind of shy. i then have to explain that tom is definitely NOT shy. he may be quiet and he may not gab your ear off during a conversation, but he's a lot more outgoing than i am!

case in point:

on saturday we crashed our old ward's party and my friend carrie had set up some hilarious games. one of the games was to have two people put pantyhose with a beanbag in the end on their head. the object was to swing the pantyhose around, get them tangled on your opponents, and to rip it off their head.
